“We will be playing against strong teams in Group B and our first game is against Sunshine Stars. We believe that the team can start strong at home by winning her first game of the season.

Talking about the match officials, he said  he was impressed when Hon. Elegbeleye informed that the match indemnities of  officials  will be taken care of throughout the season and no referee will be denied his entitlements as at when due.

“Hearing that the IMC will take care of all indemnities of the match officials and that referees will get credit alert of their indemnities before they officiate a game is very good.

“Failure to pay match indemnities has been the bane of the league in the past, but this is a good development that will ensure fairness and improve the quality of NPFL games,” he said.
