Wikki Tourists of Bauchi attacking midfielder,  Promise Damala has expressed how his football career has been filled with uncertainties.

The youngster revealed this in an exclusive interview with www.totorinews.com, as he maintained strong conviction that Wikki Tourists will bounce back to the NPFL next season.

“It has not been an easy journey, but I must thank God for where I am today. I have to say It has been one full of great experiences that are not only my football career, but also my life,” Damala told www.totorinews.com

“I have learned a lot and still learning a great deal. I must say it is a journey that has only just begun,” he added.

The dazzling midfielder also reflected his football journey in the NPFL and the NNL, as he affirmed that he is yet to reach his peak in the game.

“I wouldn’t say, i am not still at the peak of my game. Circumstances may have brought me to a lower division than I was previously, but i will say it’s part of life and the journey of greatness”.

“It is a phase. I’m glad that God is making me pass through. The situation is making me not only a  better footballer, but a better person and this part of my journey right now will make my story of greatness sweeter shortly”.

“Yes I was very positive before the season started seeing the draws we were the third favorite in everybody’s books but after the first stanza, God has been helping us and we remain the only unbeaten team. I believe It can only get better for us”. 

“We have a very good team of young players and we’re determined to create history for ourselves,” he said.
