It has been exclusively revealed to www.totorinews.com  that criminal elements in various forms have invaded Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja, where they have have stolen  27 air conditioners in some offices.

According to a reliable source, the manner in which the air-conditioners were stolen still remains unbelievable judging by the number of security personnel assigned to different parts of the stadium.

“We are still finding it very hard to believe that thieves could steal the air- conditioners in our office and we have private security personnel scattered around and even some police officers,” the source said.

“The thieves had it smooth to steal 27 air conditioners and we keep wondering how did this happen? he queried.

“The matter is still being investigated. We are approaching the heat season now, no air-conditioners to cool the office. If electricity is on, we don’t have air-conditioners to cool our office.

He further revealed that Sunday Dankoro House of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) did not witness such ugly incident, of which, he showered praises on the security at the building.

“Most offices at the stadium complex have a case of stolen air-conditioners. The thieves operated as if the stadium does not have any security, except for NFF.

“NFF building did not record anything like that. I think the security personnel there were very alert and security was not compromised,” he said.
