New Super Eagles goalkeeper Samuel James, who was in goal when Nigeria drew 3-3 with Russia in an international friendly two weeks ago, has continued to impress in Finland, reports www.totorinews.com.
James was in action for 90 minutes when his club, SJK, faced Ilves away from home in the Finnish league over the weekend. The 20-year-old Nigerian made several close-range saves, including a penalty, although his efforts could not prevent his team from suffering a 2-0 defeat.

Despite the loss, James earned a rating of 7.2 for his performance, providing further encouragement for the young goalkeeper as he continues to develop his career in European football.
A former product of Lagos-based Mavlon FC, James joined the Finnish club during the January transfer window last year.
