Destiny cannot be denied as Hon.Balele Aminu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has emerged as the Federal lawmaker representing Dutsin-ma/Kurfu Federal constituency in Katsina State, reports www.totorinews.com.
Dan Arewa as he is fondly called by his admirers secured 25, 388 votes to beat his closest rival, Nura Mohammed Muazu of the PDP, who got 24, 163 votes.
The astute administrator, akind hearted leader and politician has been a great factor in bringing development and smiles to the people of Dutsin-ma/Kurfi Federal constituency over the years.
In an exclusive chat with www.totorinews.com after his victory was announced by the INEC Returning Officer, Hon. Aminu expressed his gratitude to God Almighty and he also thanked the people for voting him.
“I thank Almighty Allah for making this victory possible. I thank the electorates and the good people of Dutsin-ma/Kurfi Federal constituency and I pray that the people will enjoy more dividends of democracy,” Hon. Balele Aminu said.
“I also want to thank everyone for making this election free and fair, no violence and rancour. We the people are the winners,” he said.
