Good to play against Nigeria’s World Cup players – Allan Kateregga

It was a pleasurable experience to play against Nigeria’s World Cup players says Allan Kateregga, Cranes of Uganda playmaker, reports totorinews.com

The friendly game between both sides ended in a goaless affair at the Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba on Tuesday evening to the delight of the Ugandans and Kateregga said that it was a good performance from the Cranes against a very formidable foe that parades high profile players across the world..

“ The last time Uganda played Nigeria, we defeated Super Eagles 1-0 in Nigeria and given the profile of Nigerian players and the clubs they play for, we knew the game was going to be difficult. The midfield is always a battle. It is is a battle of who can create the most chances and at some points, who can score the most goals. It is always a difficult task. Despite all these, it was good to play against the Nigeria’s world cup players.” Allan Kateregga said.

“It was a pleasure to play against the Super Eagles in Nigeria. It is an unimaginable dream to play against Nigeria because when you started playing football as a kid, you may not have thought that one day you will travel to Nigeria to play against Super Eagles, against the likes of Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho and the rest of the Nigerian players. So, it was a good experience,” he added.
