Despite the painful reality that the Golden Eaglets will not represent Africa at this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup, Matthew Kingsley, one of the players registered for the tournament says it was a beautiful experience for him.

According to the young teenager, he learnt valuable experience under Nduka Ugbade led technical crew of the team, as he continues to improve his game, adding that the experience he gathered during the various sessions of the team will make him a better player going forward.

“Obviously it was a beautiful experience for me. Sadly, we could not qualify for the World Cup, but in all honesty, if we ( the players) continue to work hard, we will reap from the experience of playing at U- 17 AFCON tournament in Algeria,” Kingsley said.
