Flying Eagles in six goals thriller with Colombia

Determined Flying Eagles of Nigeria forced their Columbia counterpart to 3 – 3 draw in the friendly game played on Tuesday, reports www.totorinews.com.

It was a perfect opportunity for Ladan Bosso to continue preparing the team for the FIFA U20 World Cup which kicks off this weekend in Argentina.

An unfortunate own goal by Abel Ogwuche gave the Columbians the lead in the 20th minute, but Flying Eaglets resounded in the 44th minute through Jude Sunday.

And when it appeared that the first half will end in 1 -1, Columbia scored again before the referee signalled the end of first half.

On resumption on play, the South Americans scored again as the cruised to 3-1 !advantage.

Nevertheless, Flying Eagles never gave up. The team piled pressure on the defence of Columbia and got rewarded for their efforts through goals from Mohsmmed Beji and Emmanuel Umeh to end the game 3-3.

The second half was more interesting with Columbia increasing their lead again in quick succession.
