History was made at the national sports festival in Asaba when a married woman with three children won three gold medals in 81kg for Team Lagos, reports www.totorinews.com.
Mary John-Osazuwa was very clinical and too strong for other contenders in the 81kg category to emerge champion to the cheering of the Weightlifting fans at the venue.
It was further gathered that Osazuwa almost quit the sport after she faced some challenges, but she got great support from her late father and her husband also stood by her.
