Hesha Mahmud, an Egyptian football ethusiast has said that the Super Eagles’94 set is his forever number one team in Africa, totorinews reports exclusively.
Mahmud was seen wearing the current design of the Nigeria home jersey but the picture of Super Eagles ’94 set printed at the back, while in the front had the picture of late Rashidi Yekini printed to give the jersey unique design and he informed that the jubilation and chanting of Yekini when he scored Nigeria’s first goal in the USA ’94 World Cup against Bulgaria is in his memory forever.
“Nigeria 1994 Super Eagles, the best in Africa. My forever number one. Rashidi Yekini my number one striker in Africa. He scored for Nigeria at the World Cup and he celebrated the goal differently. You can see in this picture( he pointed to the picture on his Nigerian jersey). Your team – Yekini, Amokachi, Emmanuel Amuneke, Jay Jay Okocha in 1994 number one in Africa.” Mahmud said.
“Egypt out so i support Nigeria now in the tournament. This set not too good like 94. I will still support Nigeria til the end of the tournament,” he said.
