Olubi Adams, Nigerian teenage striking sensation continues with his great form in Europe after scoring for his club, Zalgiris against Riterial in an action packed game that ended 1-1 on Sunday afternoon, www.totorinews.com reports exclusively.
The 19 – year old lethal weapon against goalkeepers in Lithuania 1 Lyga since moving to the club last year, proved again how prolific he is in the league with his goal in the 12th minute of the encounter to send the home fans cheering.
The visitors however responded with an equaliser seven minutes later and efforts for both sides to change the scoreline could not materialise at the end of 90 90minutes.
Speaking with www.totorinews.com after the game, Adams said that his teammates aimed for victory, but their opponents were very defensive.
“We wanted to win the game. We had the game under control as we launched countless of attacks, it was just that our opponents were defensive minded.
“Personally, I am happy that I scored and I hope to continue to score goals and at the same time help my team to victory on our next fixture,” he said.
