Mavlon FC, hard nut to crack – Mohammed, Zamfara United coach

After failing to shine in their friendly game against Mavlon FC, Alhassan Mohammed, coach of Zamfara United has admitted the modest NLO is a tough nut to crack, reports www.totorinews.com.

Visiting Zamfara United fell 2-0 to Mavlon Fc at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere stadium on Sunday, in a game that was intense from the blast of the whistle.

It was a game that Zamfara United, a club in the Nigeria National League ( NNL) gave out their all, but the supremacy of Mavlon Fc boys were very evident.

Even attempt for Zamfara United to reduce the goals deficit when the referee awarded a penalty in their favour was thwarted by Mavlon’s goal goalkeeper, Rufai.

Speaking to www.totorinews.com after the game, Mohammed said that the match was very good, as they look forward to the NNL season.

“The match was very good and we did everything to win but we lost that game. Mavlon Fc are a very difficult side.” Mohammed said.

“Mavlon Fc is a very good team, they have good footballers and i wish them the  best of luck,” he said.
