Super Eagles attacker, Ademola Lookman announced his presence in Spanish football as a scoring debutant, reports www.totorinews.com.
Lookman had a dream debut for Atletico Madrid in the 5 – 0 demolition of Real Betis at the quarter- final of Copa Del Rey competition on Thursday evening.
The 28-year-old Nigerian attacker, who joined Atletico on deadline transfer from Serie A outfit Atalanta on a reported 40-million-euro ($47 million) deal got on to the scoring sheet in the 37 minute in a perfect finish after dismantling the defence of Real Betis with his skillful dribbles.
It was not just his debut goal in Spanish football, but a milestone of 100 career goals was recorded in the night by the 2024 African footballer of the year.
