Former Flying Eagles striker, Salim Fago Lawal continues with his goals scoring form in Croatian top flight league when his bullet header confirmed the 3-0 demolition of Dynamo Zagreb on Saturday evening, reports www.totorinews.com.
Lawal and his strike partner, Stjepan Loncar combined their weapons very well to dismantle the defence of Dynamo Zagreb. Loncar opened scoring for his side in the 21st minute assisted by Vinco Luzic and it an advantage the home team maintained going into the break.

On resumption, Dynamo Zagreb, their more illustrious opponents piled pressure to equalise but to no avail, as NK Istra increased the tally courtsey of Loncar who registered his brace in the 53rd minute.
Despite trailing 2- 0, Dynamo gave their all, seeking to be rewarded with a goal for their efforts, but Fago, the Nigerian lethal weapon fashioned from Mavlon FC of Lagos delivered to NK Istra in 2023 summer transfer window, took the game beyond the reach of Dynamo with his sublime headed goal in the 68th minute.
It was a well deserved victory for NK Istra and splendid performance from Lawal, who also scored against Osijek last weekend.
