From NLO to Europe, the story of Thompson Ishaka

Thompson Ishaka in action

Few years ago, a young teenager, Thompson Ishaka was wearing the colours of Ladegbuwa FC of Ogun State, one of the clubs in Nationwide League One ( NLO), but today, his story has changed for good, reports www.totorinews.com

Having started from NLO, the cradle of Nigeria football, the young Ishaka displayed strong football talents and it was very glaring that his talents will definately take him out of the shores of Nigeria for greener pastures abroad.

Therefore, it was not a surprise to many football analysts when the news filtered in from the verified Twitter handle of Rangers FC that the club have signed the teenage prodigy from Ladegbuwa FC in NLO in a contract that will keep him in the club till 2025.

It has often been said that the NLO is a veritable platform for young Nigerian players to showcase their talents to the world, a springboard for a successful landing their career abroad.

Many Nigerian clubs playing in NLO have profited using the platform as a gateway between Nigeria and club football abroad and it is hoped that Ishaka will be a good ambassador of Nigerian football at his new club, Rangers FC.

There is no doubt that the left footed deadly winger has the potentials to be a very great football star in the future and may he flourish in his journey from Ladegbuwa FC of Ogun State in NLO to Rangers FC in the Scottish Premier league, not forgetting to add a transist stopover at Brooke House Football Academy in London, England.

And as NLO season kicks off this month across the Federation, it is strongly believed that more football talents will be discovered wearing the different colours of the clubs competition for honours.
