It was a wonderfuk performance for Israel Ayuma, Flying Eagles midfielder who made his first for the main team of NK Istra 1961 of Croatia against Maribor FC on Thursday, www.totorinews.com reports.
Ayuma asserted himself in the midfield, as he linked up beautifully between the defence and attack of his team, orchestrating the movement of the ball and at the same time tracking back quickly to help the defence of NK Istra 1961.
Although, NK Istra 1961 lost the game 2-1 playing away from home against the Slovenian top side, Ayuma’s performance was highly impressive as captured by a top official of the club, who prefers to be annoymous.
“Ayuma looks very comfortable with the ball in the team’s 4-2-3-1 formation where the players loved to play in tight places, touch the ball and control the ball, a kind of Spanish football,” the official said.
“We are very impressed with Ayuma’s physical ability to help in the defence and his superb contribution in orchestrating passess as the team initiated attacks from the defence,” he added.
Ayuma played for 90minutes in the game.
