With the array of football stars on parade in the Super Eagles, Hon. Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki has said that the team looks unstoppable in Africa.
According to the Former Member, House of Representatives from Gombe Kwami Funakaye Federal Constituency, he expects the Super Eagles to continue with their great form in the on- going qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
“Nigeria have good players in the Super Eagles that can qualify for the World Cup in Qatar. I don’t see any team stopping the Super Eagles in Africa. The team is unstoppable,” Hon. Mailantarki told www.totorinews.com at Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos .
“Football is developing rapidly in Africa, but it will be very difficult for any African team to stop the Super Eagles,” he added.
Hon. Mailantarki, who is the owner of Mailantarki Care Football Academy, Gombe informed that Nigeria is blessed with so many talented players at the grassroot and that is the main reason he established a football academy that will groom and nurture these grassroot players to become future football stars.
“Nigeria as a country is flourishing with uncountable players that are very talented and hopefully Mailantarki Care Football Academy will play her part in developing these players,” he said.
The Super Eagles are currently playing their counterparts from the Central Africa Republic at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos as at the time of filing this report. The scoreline goalless.
