Nigeria’s sprint sensation, Tobi Amusan on Friday evening won the silver medal in the final of the 100m Hurdles of the 2022 Diamond League meeting in Lusannne, Switzerland, reports www.totorinews.com.
Amusan, who is the World and Commonwealth Games holder finished in a time of 12.45 s behind Jasmine Camacho-Quin, who was faster with a time of 12.34s, a new record in Diamond league.
It was a much anticipated sprint competition between Amusan, the world champion and Camacho-Quin, the 2020 Olympics gold medalist.
Tia Jones won the bronze medal with her personal beat of 12.47s
