Few hours to the AITEO Cup women’s final game between defending champions, Rivers Angels and Nasarawa Amazons, Mohammed Alkali, chairman of Nasarawa State Association has said that their opponents are bearable.
Alkali disclosed to totorinews in Kaduna that football game is a dicey affair and any team that qualifies for a final of a tournament is capable of winning the trophy, so long that the team play with total focus, determination and avoid making mistakes.
“It is a cup final and Rivers Angels are beatable. If Nasarawa Amazons enter the field and play with confidence and as a strong unit, it is possible for them to beat Rivers Angels.” Alkali told totorinews.
“Rivers Angels are the defending champions of the AITEO Women’s Cup, but if the team underate Nasarawa Amazons, they will be punished with a defeat,” he added.
“Nevertheless, I expect a very explosive final. Both teams parades very good players and i think it will be a very thrilling final,” he said.
