Nigeria has made history after the D’tigress defeated Canada 79 -70 to book a place at the quarter final of the Paris 2024 Olympics basketball women’s event.
D’Tigress ranked no. 12 in the world were too formidable against Canada, ranked fifth best team in the world.
It was a very remarkable feat for the Nigerian ladies against Canada.
With this victory, Nigeria’s D’tigress also became the first African team to achieve quarter final qualification at the Olympics.
