As the National Sports Festival is set to begin on Thursday, athletes representing participating states should be mindful of the potholes in lane 5 on the track, reports totorinews.com exclusively.
These potholes can result to ankle injury for the athletes if they run into it on the track and it is going to be disadvantage to any athlete that will be assigned to run on lane 5 on the track.
It is sad that Bar. Solomon Dalung, the Minister of Youths and Sports has allowed the Abuja national stadium, a magnificient edifice to deteriorate to this level of decay to the extent that the track can cause career threatening injury to athletes while competing at the festival.
