In this season of football politics in Nigeria, one of the presidential candidates, Bar. Seyi Akinwunmi has said that he will focus on four key areas if voted in as the next President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), reports www.totorinews.com
He revealed this onTuesday in Abuja when he made an official declaration to contest for NFF President at an event attended by top football stakeholders. He stated that his mission is to create an inclusive and vibrant football both on the field and in the administration of the game.
“My mission is to create an inclusive, vibrant and efficient football ecosystem beginning at the grassroot to develop a sustainable national football culture, provide pathways to success and fully exploit the Nigerian entrepreneurial spirit,” Barr. Akinwunmi said.
“My action plan is structured across four key growth drivers which are development, business of football, infrastructure, and technology.
“I want to transform Nigeria into an epitome of football development using meritocracy, professionalism, technology, creativity, transparency and education,” he said.
He is presently the 1st Vice President of the NFF and chairman, Lagos State Football Association.
