Dr. Phillips, who is the brain- box behind the Nigeria Pitch Awards, disclosed this at the media event in Abuja, where nominees for the 12th edition that will be held next year was made known to the public.
“At our inaugural press conference in 2012, we promised that the Nigeria Pitch Awards platform would be built on credibility and transparency, which are our core values.
“We are delighted to note that, with the support of SIAO Partners and our other key partners, the Nigerian sports media family nationwide, we have remained steadfast in this commitment.
“The emergence of the nominees for the 12th Award Ceremony today has followed stringent guidelines, which have been in operation since 2013. We commend all members of the College of Voters across the country for their professionalism and dedication.
Speaking further, he revealed that the voting process for the nominees for the 12 edition of the awards began in late October and ended about a month ago
“The voting process began on October 29, 2025, and was concluded on November 18, 2025. The response from voters was satisfactory. Our Vote Collation and Verification partner, SIAO Partners, as always, collated, audited, and verified the integrity of the voting process.
