Alh. Ibrahim Gusau, NFF President has showered his blessings of marriage on Shariff Abdallah, who wedded his sweetheart in Kano on Saturday, reports www.totorinews.com.
Gusau, who is presently in India for the FIFA U 17 Women’s World Cup was represented by Ababakar Barde, his Special Adviser, but he was able to have a video call with the latest couple within football family in Nigeria, where he prayed for divine blessings of God to be upon the union.
Abdallah, in a brief chat with www.totorinews.com said that it was a thing of joy for him to wed his wife and it is a great privilege and honour for NFF President to take out time from his busy schedule to offer prayers via video call from India.
“I thank Almighty Allah for this day that I married the love of my wife. Particularly joyful that the NFF President, Alh. Ibrahim Gusau showered blessings through his prayers for me and my wife,” Abdallah said.
“Prayers are needed for you to build a home with your spouse and we are grateful to the NFF President and all those who celebrated with us at different levels today,” he said.
