Members of the NFF congress have pledged their allegiance to the leadership of NSC, reports www.totorinews.com.
This was disclosed by a prominent member of NFF congress, who pleaded to be annoymous, while stressing the fact that the congress cannot fight the NSC, which represents the federal government of Nigeria.

“The reality on ground is that the NFF congress does not have the power to fight the NSC. The NSC is the federal govenrnment and what we want is the way forward for Nigeria football after the resignation of the NFF board,” he said.
“There was no harm in visiting Mallam Shehu Dikko, the chairman of the NSC at his office after the conclusion of our congress meeting on Friday.
“The meeting with the NSC chairman revealed a lot of things that most of the congress members were not aware of in the administration of football and the financial support that the NSC had given to the NFF.

“Irrespective of what has happened, we want the world to know that we are on the same page with the NSC in moving Nigeria football forward. As Nigerians, we will fully comply with the directive from President Tinubu to reform our football.
“We have to bury our differences and individual ambitions for the interest and development of Nigeria football,” he concluded.
