Mavlon’s striker earns debut five days after arriving Croatian club

The genius of Mavlon FC was again witnessed when Salim Fago Lawal, newly signed striker of Istra 1961 of Croatia made his debut five days after arriving from Nigeria, reports www.totorinews.com

Lawal, Mavlon’s product easily adapted to the weather in Croatia, the technical and tactical formations of the head coach of Israel 1961 FC, Mislav Karoglan to feature in the 1st leg, 4th round of the SuperSport HNL on Monday.

It was a very unprecedented feat for a teenage footballer coming from an Academy in Africa to achieve and this point to the fact that Mavlon Fc, not only discover talented footballers, but also nurture them to the rudiments of playing European standard of football.

Although, Istra 1961 lost the game  scandously 6-0, the positive talking point in the review was the debut appearance of 18 years old Nigerian striker and it is hoped that Fago Lawal will play a heroic part in the reverse fixture of the 4th round tie of the tournament this weekend
