Francis Achi, Abuja
Prince David Adetunji Adeyeye popularly known as D.A.A. has said the major driving force behind his candidancy for House of Representative in AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency under the Young Progressive Party (YPP) is to be a louder voice for the unrepresented people in the constituency, reports totorinews.com exclusively.
Prince DAA, who is a lawyer by profession disclosed to totorinews.com on Wednesday in Abuja, that there has been untold hardship in diverse places being suffered by the people of the constituency since the inception of the present democracy in 1999 and he has also been a victim of this lack of dividend in the democracy in AMAC/Bwari and he hopes to be a leading light politically that will give the people the gains of democracy.
“The force driving me is the fact that i have been a victim of bad leadership since 1999 that we have the return of democracy in Nigeria and having seen many ugly situations, I have the strong believe that i could be a voice, a louder voice for the unrepresented people in AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency and bring community development to the people.” Prince Adeyeye said.
“The crop of leaders particularly in FCT that have represented the city have not represented the interest of the people. Most of the young people that I mentored are still jobless, unemployable and some that are employable still do not have jobs.

He said further that some communities in the FCT are so underdeveloped, lacking basic amenities for the people living in these communities and these have become a deep cause of concern to him as one of the major problems that must be fixed if elected to represent AMAC/Bwari.
“Particularly painful, is the fact that some of the communities do not have accessible roads, neither do the people have a potable water. I have been to communities, agrarian communities and they do not have the basic infrastructure they need to survive and you wonder if these communities are in Afghanistan , Pakistan or actually in the FCT,” he queried.
“This is the major reason that i have titled my vision as the Legislative agenda for community development. I want to bring about a legislation that will make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people in the FCT.” YPP candidate said.
“I want to sponsor bills that will create jobs, grow the local economy and develop the communities, where the people can begin to have the platforms to take their lives to the level of greatness.

“So, these are the things that drives me and the force behind my political journey,” he said.
