Flying Eagles midfielder, Israel Ayuma says he will continue to work hard in order to achieve his dream of playing in Laliga, reports www.totorinews.com.
Ayuma, a vital member of the Flying Eagles team that won the WAFU U20 tournament in Lome, Togo last week, said that he learnt so many valuable things under Aliyu Zubairu and he is grateful for the opportunity the coach gave him.
“I must say that I have lots of dreams. I thank God for making one of my dreams to become a reality. I thank also the Flying Eagles coach, Mr. Zubairu for helping me to achieve my dream of playing for Nigeria,” Ayuma said.
“The coach gave me lots of confidence and I think my game improved during the course of the tournament. All the players were all improving game per game,”he added.

“It was not easy after we lost our first game. Our second game in the tournament was against Cote d’Ivoire and I can tell you that the build-up to that game was full of tension in the camp.
“It was a must – win game for Flying Eagles and we laboured very well to win. The Ivoriens scored and we equalised and went ahead with another goal, which we defended to the end. It was the most difficult game for the Flying Eagles.
19 years old former Mavlon Fc midfielder revealed that one of his big dreams is to play in LaLiga and he will continue to work hard at his club NK Istra of Croatia towards fulfilling the dream.
“My other big dream is to play in Laliga. I believe I can play in Real Madrid, Barcelona or any club in Laliga in the next two years. If I keep on working hard, remain focused and prayerful, it is possible.
The midfielder is known for his offensive dribbling ability in quick transition from defence to attack, with sublime passing skills that can split the defence of the opponents in a jiffy, while locating his attacking teammates and these qualities were on display at the WAFU B U20 tournament.
