I am happy to score my first goal for Nigeria – Agada

Charles Agada, who shone like a diamond in the sky for the Golden Eaglets against South Africa says he is very happy to score his first goal for Nigeria.

Agada started the game for Nigeria after coming in as substitute in previous games against Zambia and Morocco, and there was no doubt that his inclusion was a master stroke from Nduka Ugbade led – technical crew of the Golden Eaglets.

“I am so happy to score my first goal for Nigeria in the game against South Africa. We worked hard for the victory as a team and I thank our coaches for helping us,” Charles Agada said.

Speaking ahead of the game against Burkina Faso, the teenage striker revealed that his teammates will play according to the instructions of the coaches and do everything humanly possible to win the game.

“We pray to play very well according to instructions of our coaches. Burkina Faso is a good team, but we are optimistic of winning by converting our chances into goals. We will work very hard to win the the game,” he said.

The quarter – final game between Nigeria and Burkina Faso will take place at the Nelson Mandela stadium in Algeria and kick off is 8pm Nigeria time.
