EFCC : Attempt to ‘arrest’ Flying Eagles foiled by Bosso

Attempt by the EFCC to arrest players of the Flying Eagles was foiled by Ladan Bosso, the chief coach of the team, reports www.totorinews.com

It was a very explosive encounter as EFCC operatives in form of footballers were determined to showcase their intent of arresting the team in a friendly game played at the FIFA goal project, MKO Abiola stadium on Saturday.

Flying Eagles found in EFCC a hard nut to crack with the game ending goalless in the first half, though the team created more scoring chances which they were unlucky to convert. EFCC went into the break happy to survive the onslaught against them.

However, the second half proved to be a different ball game with EFCC soaking the pressure from the Flying Eagles, only depending on counter attacks.
The counter attacks tactical play of Coach Kabiru Adeyemi tutored EFCC side profited when Masoud Danjuma scored for EFCC against the run of play, which was widely celebrated by the few number of their fans at the FIFA goal project .

Flying Eagles quickly responded to claw their way back into the game 1-1. The pressure became unbearable for the EFCC as they finally failed in their attempt to arrest Flying Eagles when they conceeded the second goal to give 2-1 advantage to the Flying Eagles.

It ended 2-1 in favour of the Flying Eagles. EFCC is a team in the Nigeria National League ( NNL) and they are currently the champions of Abuja FA Cup.
