Easy for former Golden Eaglets to adapt in Flying Eagles – Bosso

Former Golden Eaglets players that are currently in the Flying Eagles are exciting to watch and they can quickly adapt to the rigorous exercises in the Flying Eagles, says Ladan Bosso, reports www.totorinews.com

Bosso, the chief coach of the Flying Eagles said that the exposure and experience gathered at the national U – 17 team camp makes it easier for progressions of players to the U – 20.

He expressed satisfaction that some 2021 Golden Eaglets players who could not make it to the AFCON U 17 tournament due to COVID-19 which forced the cancellation of the tournament by the host nation, Morocco, are doing well in the Flying Eagles camp as seen in the friendly games played by the team.

It will be noted that Flying Eagles scored a sublime free kick goal taken by Haliru Sarki against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in a friendly game played on Saturday at the FIFA Goal project in Abuja.

Sarki, who plays for Mahanaim Fc of Abuja,is a left sided winger is among the few players in the last Golden Eaglets that is very prominent in Bosso’s team and his goal was the tonic the  Flying Eagles needed to assert themselves and went on to beat Lobi Stars, NPFL team.

“Understanding the environment makes players to adapt easily. It is easy for U- 17 players to progress to the U -20 because they are not new to the national team camp or the environment,” Ladan Bosso told the media after the Flying Eagles defeated Lobi Stars 2-0.

” We have some former Golden Eaglets players here doing well and that shows good development. That is what we want to see.

“Players graduating from the Golden Eaglets to Flying Eagles to U – 23 Eagles and Super Eagles shows good progression for the players and also good for Nigeria football,” he said.
