It was another fruitful day in the office for NSC Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko as he welcomed veteran broadcaster, Former Team Nigeria captain and Sports Administrator Alhaji Hameed Adio on Tuesday. It is never a dull moment discussing sports with Alhaji Adio who is a repository of Nigeria’s rich sporting history.
However, Alhaji Adio confessed that what he meant to be a touching-base meeting, ended up shedding more light on the game-changing projects being embarked upon by the Commission under the Renewed Hope Initiative for Nigerian Sports Economy (RHINSE) framework and the shared prosperity vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Adio wrote afterwards, “Earlier today, I was on a friendly visit to Nigeria’s Number One Sports Administrator, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, NSC, Mallam Shehu Dikko in his Abuja office. What was initially meant to be a courtesy visit turned out to be that of a cross-fertilization of ideas during which he reeled out the giant strides and objectives of the Tinubu administration in Nigeria’s holistic sports development. Look out for the details, it’s going to be a thriller. To God be the glory.”
