The proprietor of FC ONE Rocket further informed that Daga is one of the players that will take the centre stage in world football very soon and he is happy that Daga, who is one of his players is directly being managed and guided by him in order for the young teenage sensation not to lose focus and be derailed.
“Daga is a gift to Nigeria. He is the next generation of footballers that Nigeria is expecting. He is cool headed and managing directly he stays with me,” Hon. Essien told www.totorinews.com in Abuja.

“He is a young boy and I don’t allow his little success at the WAFU B U 20 tournament to really be on his head. I’m his father. I am grooming him directly and I will not allow anybody to influence him negatively.

He also said that Daga is not only the young player FC ONE Rocket has produced in its few years of existence, adding that Charles Etim and Peter Asuquo are the other youngsters that have featured for both the Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles.

“The desire to develop young people and give them the opportunity to become whatever they want to be in life gives me satisfaction.

“Football is one of such platforms and I am very glad that we have also produced Charles Etim. He played for the Flying Eagles at the WAFU B U 20 tournament in Benin Republic.

“Peter Asuquo is another young teenager from Carabana Academy. I am also the owner of Carabana Academy based in Uyo.

“My duty is to create football platforms that will groom and nurture talented young footballers and showcase them to Nigeria and the world.

“And hopefully, we will expect that revenue will come when we start selling our best legs like Daga to some European clubs, but we are not in a hurry,” he said.
