I know nothing about contraband importation of Tramadol weighing 6,182kg, neither do i have anything with Limak Nigeria Limited, the company alleged to have imported the illicit drug into Nigeria, were the strong assertions of Prince Yakubu Atokolo
Prince Atokolo disclosed in a press conference on Thursday in Abuja, while reacting to a publication in the media, not Totori News, that linked him to the importation of the contraband drugs.
He revealed the root cause of the plot to implicate him in a crime that he knew nothing of, adding that his detractors, who are his political opponents over the issue of leadership of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, ANLCA, Abuja Airport chapter are the axis of evil responsible for this iglorious act.
“My Company’s name is LIMARK INTERNATIONAL NIG. LTD. The alleged company is LIMAK NIGERIA LIMITED.
I know nothing about LIMAK NIG. LTD. It is based on a political tussle between myself and other political opponents in the Association of Nigeria Customs Licenced Agents are the people behind this,” Atokolo said.

“All the shipper information are contained in the shipment papers which are in custody of the NDLEA and none of these were linked to me or my company.
Speaking further, he said that the news outfit that published the defamatory article against his personality will face the consequences of their action in a law suit, insisting that he has no business transaction with Alhaji Umar, who was mentioned as a culprit behind the crime.
“Alhaji Ibrahim Akanbi Umar has no business with me and i have instructed my legal team to sue the media house that published the defamatory and libelous article. The press statement from Custom did not mention my name in anywhere.
He commended Nigeria custom service and NDLEA in their fight against illegal drugs in the country.
“That customs under the leadership of Adewale Bashir Adeniyi has been doing so well and are always dispassionate in the discharge of their services.
“Even the NDLEA would also pursue a thorough, dispassionate fact findings, especially considering the shippers documents which are in their custody and which contains all the information of the origin and destination of the contraband,” he concluded.
