Joy Eze has won gold medal for Team Delta in the 71kg weight category in the Weightlifting snatch at the on – going Delta 22 national sports festival in Asaba, reports www.totorinews.com.
Eze was too strong for other contestants as she lifted 95kg good to emerge champion. Blessing Ogungbure of Lagos State lifted 92kg to win the silver medal, while Esther Ezekiel of Bayelsa lifted 90kg to win the bronze medal.
Eze competed for Team Delta at Edo 2020 national sports festival in Benin where she won three gold medals.
