After watching the Golden Eaglets beat Galadima FC 3-1 in a friendly game played at the FIFA goal project on Sunday morning, Manu Garba ( OON), says the team must improve in the art of goalscoring, reports www.totorinews.com

Garba, who won the 2013 FIFA U 17 World Cup for Nigeria, said that it was a very good game for the Eaglets, adding that there was great commitment from the players and confidence, but the attackers must improve on their finishing.

“It was a good test game for the National U-17 team. What I love much in this team is their commitment and confidence of the players to play,” Manu Garba said.

“But they must have to work on converting the chances created into more goals. The attackers must finish well to get the ball into the net.

“Above all, it is a very good test game for the National U-17 team. A team preparing for tournament like AFCON U-17 must play many friendly games.

“I think the team is on the right course,” he said.

Since resumption from the election break, Golden Eaglets have played eight friendly games, winning seven and drawing one.

Eaglets scored 40 goals, conceded eight goals in the process.
