Liberia vs Nigeria : NFF Have No Say On Fans Attendance in Morocco – Sanusi

Ahead of the crucial world cup qualifying game between Liberia and Nigeria that will be held in the city of Tangiers, Morocco on Saturday, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the scribe of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has said the federation has no say on the issue of fans attendance in the game.

He disclosed this in an exclusive chat with www.totorinews.com in Abuja, as he informed that the game is completely under the control of Liberia Football Federation and it is what they want as host  that will be strictly adhered to in line with COVID-19 safety protocols, despite the game being played in Morocco.

“NFF have nothing to do with fans attendance, whether it is closed door game or not, because it is not the home game of Nigeria Football Federation,” Sanusi told www.totorinews.com.

“Nigeria Football Federation cannot do anything. If there is anything that should be done, it is Liberia that should do that, but I don’t think Liberia will do that because we have more supporters in Morocco and it will not be to their advantage.

“I believe that they would not. It will be a closed door game like what the Super Eagles experienced in Douala in the game against Central African Republic.

“NFF will continue to support the Super Eagles and give the team what they require to make sure that are ready physically, mentally and psychologically for both games in Morocco and Lagos,” he said.

The Super Eagles will play Liberia on Saturday 13 November and host Cape Verde three days later in Lagos.
