“Super Eagles should approach every game with the seriousness to win and play every team in the tournament with respect.

The former member of NFF security committee then admonished the Super Eagles and the entire technical crew to give their best in order to ensure that the team ease the pain of not qualifying for the World Cup by exceling at AFCON tournament in Morocco.

“I think what the players, technical crew and the entire football stakeholders should do, is to ensure that the Super Eagles win the AFCON tournament. I think this will calm Nigerians down, that at least we have a trophy to celebrate.

“So, the team must give in their best. Play with strong winning mentality and make sure they come back to the country with the AFCON trophy and present it to Mr. President,” he concluded.
