Exclusive : Kelechi Nwakali opens up on Sudan game

With the Super Eagles having dominant displays in their two games played so far in  the AFCON 2021 tournament in Garoua, Cameroon, Kelechi Nwakali has revealed what happened in the game against Sudan, reports www.totorinews.com exclusively. 

According to the Super Eagles midfielder, the game against Sudan was more difficult despite the 3-1 defeat of their opponents,  compared to the encounter with the Pharoahs of Egypt, which ended 1-0.

“The game against Sudan was more difficult. Though, we scored three goals in the game, it was not that easy. It was more difficult, not minding the scoreline, Nwakali told www.totorinews.com in Garoua, Cameroon.

“If we check the game against Egypt, it was not that difficult. We were more composed and we won with a lone goal. 
Sudan put on a good performance. They played better than Egypt,” he said.

Nigeria play her last group game against Guinea Bissau on Wednesday at the Stade Roumdé Adjia.
