On Friday, the Flying Eagles will file out against the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso in their opening game in Group B and Bosso said that the first game of the team is a must – win for Zubairu and the players.
“Aliyu Zubairu is a sound coach. He is the new coach of the Flying Eagles, but he is not new in Nigerian football circle. I believe that Nigeria will flourish under him in Lome, Togo,” Bosso said.

“The first game is very crucial in every tournment, especially for a team like Nigeria. So, the game against Burkina Faso must be taken as a final game. The players must show strong winning mentality to control the game and win the maximum points.
“The players must follow the technical and tactical formations of the coach. I said earlier that Zubairu is a very coach. It is up to the players to do what is needed on the pitch in order to win the game.
