The present NFF electioneering campaigns have brought out some young Nigerians, who have shown interest in the administration of the game at the executive level.
One of the youthful candidates interested to become a board member of the NFF is Ayodeji Ogunjobi, the son of late astute football administrator and former international, Taiwo Ogunjobi.
In an exclusive interview with www.totorinews.com in Abuja, the soft spoken Ogunjobi said that he has strong drive to bring positive impact to the development of football in Nigeria and that is the force behind his ambition to contest for a board member of the NFF from South West.
“My decision to contest for the forthcoming NFF elections is to ensure that there is a change and to bring positive impact to Nigeria football,” Ayodeji Ogunjobi told www.totorinews.com.

“I do understand that things are not moving well in terms of football development in the country and Nigerians do acknowledge the fact that there has to be a change and this change has to start with people that are involved in managing our football.
“We need to get accustomed to the new globally acceptable practices in football development and do away with away with the old practices that we know. That is one of the things I personally want to achieve.
Speaking about the business aspect of football, Ogunjobi said that there is a need to promote policies that will make football very viable in Nigeria.
“We would also promote policies that will build Nigeria football into a very business as it is done in other parts of the world especially in Europe. It is time for Nigeria to get things right.
“I intend to drive new sponsorship for a new friendly face for Nigeria football that will be economically viable to invest in and partner with,” he said.
