Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen was the tormentor in- chief in the attack of Napoli as Liverpool were beaten 4-1 in Naples on Wednesday evening.
It was Uefa Champions league night football game that Liverpool fans were made very miserable with their team condemned to three unreplied goals in the first half of the encounter.
Osimhen lost the opportunity to register his name on the scores sheet when he failed to convert from the spot in the 18th minute and he was later substituted in the 41st minute after he was injured.
Piotr Zielinski had earlier sent the Napoli fans in wild jubilation when he scored from the spot in the fifth minute Victor Osimhen had hit the post.
Andre-Frank Anguissa and Giovanni Simeone, who replaced Osimhen extended Napoli’s lead before going into into break. Giovanni was only on the pitch for three minutes when he scored.
Zielinski scored again after the break to take the game completely out of control for Liverpool, the 2019 champions.
