21days tour : Mavlon FC departs Bulgaria for Nigeria

After spending 21 days on a training tour of Bulgaria, Eastern Europe, Mavlon FC is set to depart the city of Sofia Tuesday morning to land at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos later in the day, www.totorinews.com reports.

The team displayed the richness of football made in Nigeria in all the games they played against European teams from Bulgaria and North Macedonia to the delight of football fans and the Bulgarian media.

The training tour also gave exposure to the young players of Mavlon on how football games are executed in Europe, as they were also opportuned to have football lectures in the class.

The sublime of football played by Mavlon FC did not go unnoticed in Europe, as some European clubs are already battling among themselves to have some Mavlon players in their possessions for their continued football development in Europe.

“We have no doubts that it was a tremendous training tour of Bulgaria and when the time comes, we will cross the bridge regarding enquiries made by some clubs in Europe to have our players,” Martins Kanayo told www.totorinews.com before boarding the plane.

Similarly, the chairman of the club, Bar. Kenneth Agadagba said that the management is thrilled with the performance of the players and technical crew and great future beckons on the players.

“We are satisfied with the players and officials. Mavlon gave a good account of themselves in all the games played and we believe that the future will be great for these players of they remain focused,” Bar. Kenneth Agadagba said.
