Every team that qualified for the 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt can be very dangerous and equally formidable to win the trophy says John Ogu, Super Eagles midfielder, totorinews.com reports.
According to the Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel player , the likes of Guinea Bissau, Madagascar and Burundi that are among the teams that qualified for the AFCON tournament cannot be written off and any of the 24 teams in tournament can win the trophy.
“All the teams that qualified for AFCON tournament is very dangerous and capable of winning the cup. You can’t write off any team.” Ogu told totorinews.com
“Football has changed. There is no minority. No small footballing nation in Africa. Guinea Bissau, Burundi , Namibia and Madagascar all qualified for the tournament and Super Eagles will not underrate any team.
“The Super Eagles will approach every game with a strong mentality of winning. If we win every game, it takes nearer to our main objective and that is the approach,” he said.
