The Imo state House of Assembly on Thursday 7th March 2024 confirmed all the commissioner nominee on the list sent by Governor Hope Uzodimma for ratification and confirmation.
Among those confirmed by the Assembly are the immediate past commissioner for information and strategy, Declan Emelumba, the immediate past commissioner of works, Ralph Nwosu, and Chimezue Amadi, the immediate past comissioner of digital economy and e- govt.
Others are : Lady Nkedu Ugwu, Anselem Anyanwu, Dr Chuka Ahazu, Modesta Osakwe, Cosmos Madba, the immediate past comissioner for enviroment and Obinna Onyeocha Everistus.
The Clerk of the Imo State House of Assembly, Mrs Chinelo Emeghara, before the exercise, said 12 names have been forwarded by the State governor for screening in the first batch.
She added that four more names are being expected.
Recall, that Governor Hope Uzodimma dissolved his cabinet on January 16, 2024, the day after his innagauration on January 15 2024.
