No plan to decamp to another party – Ifeanyi Ubah

Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah calls for transparent, free and fair primaries denies having plan to decamp report www.totorinews.com.
The frontline aspirant for the 2019 Anambra South Senatorial District Election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance – APGA, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has called on the party leadership on the need to provide a platform for transparent, free and fair primaries for all the aspirants in the forthcoming party primary election.
The Chief Promoter of AfaIgboEfuna, who made the call this Saturday morning  during a radio programme “Straight Talk” on Odenigbo 99.1 FM advised that it is only transparent, free and fair primaries that will guarantee unity of purpose after the party primary election and that APGA knows those who are capable of winning the main election when the time comes.
Dr. Ubah who spoke extensively about his mission to represent the good people of Anambra South in the Senate, has maintained that all the aspirants in the forthcoming APGA primaries are qualified to represent the party in any position and issues of sentiment should be discarded.
Dr. Ubah who gave reason why he supported Alhaji Maigari in the just concluded NFF 2018 Elective Congress, decried that it was undemocratic for the re-elected Amaju Pinnick to make it open that all his board members should/must be returned for the second tenure alongside him therefore, setting a precedence of anarchy in the system.
While reacting on how prepared he is to face the primary election on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Dr. Ubah says he’s not involved in any process leading to the primaries, even though he has visited all the seven (7) local governments where he met with party faithfuls, stakeholders and leaders for not less than three (3) times within 3 weeks.
The President of African Football Revolution Initiative while assuring party faithfuls, leaders and stakeholders of his readiness to face the primary with other contestants, also said he will be ready to support whoever emerges after the primaries provided there’s level playing ground for all the aspirants.
Dr. Ubah also pleaded with the government of the day to come to the rescue of ndị Nnewi by working on the Maria Regina junction which spans to Awka Etiti because of the economic impact and importance of the road to Ndị-Nnewi.
He took the opportunity to thank his supporters for standing with him and assuring them that all will end in praise. He assured APGA faithfuls that he has come to APGA to stay and work for the party to win elections and has no intention to decamp if not given the opportunity to fly the APGA flag for the Anambra South Senatorial District.
