“The staff welfare is the core of the DG’s policy and the staff of NIMC are very grateful.
“NIMC has provided transport palliative for the staff aside from the transport allowance, but due to the increase in the price of PMS, the commission decided to provide transport palliative for our staff.
“There are buses at strategic locations in Abuja that conveys staff to office and this is highly commendable.
“We also have clinic within NIMC where staff who are sick can go free medical treatment. We also have monthly aerobic exercise that helps NIMC in building healthy workforce.
Speaking further, she said that 75% of the workforce has undergone capacity and training development to make them more effective in the discharge of their duties.
“In terms of training and development capacity, NIMC has trained 75% of the workforce both within and outside Nigeria for our specialised staff like those in ICT,” she said.
