Nigeria’s Paul Obi dazzles in Finland

Nigeria, a country not lacking in football talents is fully represented in Finland with the exploits of Paul Obi, who has been painting the league red with goals in the colours of FC Pepo Lappeenranta, totorinews.com reports exclusively.

Obi was the hat-trick hero when his club condemned FC Klubi 04 to 4-0 massacre last weekend and he has been the live wire of the team in the attack, which has made the club to be very formidable in the league.

The Nigerian goals scoring sensation had 20 goals to his credit when he played for Hercules FC in the 2017/18 season, while he also scored 5 goals and made 4 assists the following season.

He has maintained his great goals scoring form this season with FC Pepo Lappeenranta and it appears that his days are numbered in the modest Finnish club judging by the interest coming from some clubs in the Scandinavian countries and middle east.

Speaking exclusively to totorinews.com in Cairo, Buade Oluwasegun Joel of Pexsport International Management, representative of Paul Obi informed that they have received interest for Obi from some clubs, but the player will not be rushed to sign for a new club.

“Some clubs have shown interest for Paul Obi and it is good to receive such interests but the player will not be eager to sign for a new club unless we have on offer that meet our expectations for his continued progress,” Buade said.
