The Green Atlas FC of Kaduna on Wednesday at the FIFA Goal Project pitch, Abuja National Stadium, lost to the Flying Eagles 2 -1 in a friendly match, reports www.totorinews.com.
Green Atlas debutant in the NLO scared the Flying Eagles with a goal in the 1st minute of the game through Peter Tafarki.
Green Atlas goalkeeper Cosmos Akprreshi saved a penalty in the 21st minute, but the Nigeria’s U20 team later got their equaliser in the 30th minute.
Both teams showed good possession while entertaining the crowd, Sulieman Mustapha and Ojo Julius marshalled the midfield for Green Atlas.
The first half ended 1- 1.

The ding-dong affair continued in the second half with both teams making changes. Flying Eagles then scored their second goal in the 52nd minute through a rocket shot from the edge of the box.
It became a show of skills and ball possession with both sides making daring incursions into each others danger zones.
Speaking after the game, the coach of Green Atlas FC, said it was a good game,” It was a high tempo matc, and we should know that the Flying Eagles is still building a team.

The Chairman of Green Atlas FC, Dr Tayo Adebisi said Nigeria is blessed with so much talent, that with the quality of technical crew led by Abdu Maikaba and players in the Fying Eagles camp and the process of building, he believes the country will raise a good team towards the qualifiers.
Flying Eagles are in camp preparing for the WAFU B U20 tournament to be hosted by Cotè d’Ivoire next month.
