The sound wisdom of leadership in NFF has prevailed in the crisis rocking FCT Football Association after the supreme football body brokered peace between the aggrieved parties, reports www.totorinews.com

According to a reliable source, NFF asked the warring factions to allow peace to reign in the FCT FA in order for football to continue to develop in the capital city of Nigeria, insisting that the football rules must be obeyed strictly.

“It is good to commend the leadership of NFF led by Ibrahim Gusau for their quick intervention in the matter of purported suspension of two coaches of Like-Minds FC handed by the FCT FA and everything is back to normal.

“The statutes quo remain and we all have promised to work together for the progress of football in the FCT FA. Internal problems is not good for our football.

“We hope that there will be strong unity among all the football stakeholders in the FCT. We need unity and we thank the NFF for their sincere efforts,” the source concluded.

TOTORI NEWS went further to contact one of the gladiators in the matter, Bar. Babatunde Akintade, a board member of FCT FA and the owner of Like- Minds FC, who said that the petition against FCT FA Chairman, Abba Mouktar Mohammed has been withdrawn.
“The petition written against the Chairman, FCT FA has been withdrawn and the matter has been settled amicably among all the aggrieved stakeholders in the FCT,” Bar. Akintade said.
